From March 20, only buses and taxis will be allowed to run in one lane in front of the Medical School buildings on Szigeti Street. The restriction of traffic is necessary in order for Pécs to develop an east-west public transport axis, which will benefit all citizens of Pécs.
The closure will begin on 20 March and is expected to continue until 20 June.
During the road works, the use of bicycles or cars on the affected road section is also not allowed.
According to the plans, the construction company, Strabag, will be finished with the road works by the end of September at the latest.
