The Knowledge Centre will be Open until Midnight!

We inform you that the opening hours of the library units in the Knowledge Centre will change from 9 May 2023. 

During the spring exam period, from 15 May to 29 June 2023, the University Library will be open until midnight for students who choose to study here in the evening or at night.   

We wish you all the best on your exams!

The opening hours:

9 May – 14 May: 

  • Tuesday– Friday: 08:00– 20:00 
  • Saturday: 10:00– 20:00 
  • Sunday: closed 

15 May – 29 June: 

  • Monday– Friday: 08:00– 24:00 
  • Saturday: 10:00– 24:00 
  • Sunday: closed 

30 June:

  • Friday: 08:00– 20:00 

1 July: 

  • Saturday: 10:00– 20:00

  • From Monday to Friday between 20:00 and 24:00 and on Saturdays between 18:00 and 24:00, readers are only allowed to study on the second floor. Visitors can study in the reading hall, the study booths and the group study room. On this floor, readers can use the automated book-loaning equipment, the copy machine/printer and the automated book-returning point that can be found on the right side of Registration on the ground floor. During this time, registration is suspended and the traditional book loaning service at the circulation desk is not available.
  • The second floor of the Knowledge Centre is only open to registered readers or visitors with a daily card. Daily cards can be required during the opening hours of the Registration desk (Mon–Fri: 8.00-19.45; Sat: 10.00-17.45).
  • Readers can access the library spaces through the south entrance from the car park.
  • Readers are not allowed to bring food into the library area since it is not allowed to eat here.
  • The cloakroom is not open at night.
  • During the normal opening hours (Mon–Fri: 8.00-20.00; Sat: 10.00-18.00) library services are available as usual. For those who have not already done so, can register, loan books, make a reservation, renew or return a book in person, request an interlibrary loan, make a storage request for a book, or ask the librarians for information.
