The Compostela Group of Universities, of which the University of Pécs is a member, published a statement on 1 March, agreed upon by the members of the Executive Committee of the CGU, to condemn the Russian military actions in Ukraine. In it, they reprove “the unprecedented malicious aggression of the Russian Federation against the territorial integrity of another independent country”.
Besides, in the text, they express their solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and especially with their “university colleagues, friends, families and students”.
